In 2015, Mizzou was Missouri’s largest university attracting one-third of the state’s high school seniors, enrolling roughly 25,000 students. But when a series of racially charged events on campus were not appropriately addressed, enrollment declined by 30% and hundreds of staff were laid off. We were charged with a resurgence. Changing perceptions and reinstating this powerhouse institution. I’m proud to say our tiered campaign approach yielded a 16% increase in applications just a year after we began.
